Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct instruction to students who are visually impaired, supporting their academic, social, and functional development
  • Adapt teaching materials and classroom strategies based on individual student assessments
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families to share strategies and support students across multiple settings
  • Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust plans as needed
  • Promote independence, self-advocacy, and confidence in students through tailored instruction
  • Participate in IEP meetings, complete necessary documentation, and maintain detailed progress records
