Key Qualifications:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group instruction to students with visual impairments in accordance with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Adapt classroom materials and develop resources to support accessible learning
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and staff to modify lessons and ensure a supportive classroom environment
  • Monitor student progress and document achievements toward IEP goals
  • Support the use of assistive technology and mobility techniques within the school community
  • Provide training and guidance to staff and families on techniques for working with visually impaired students
  • Foster a positive, engaging learning environment focused on student potential and success
