What We’re Looking For:

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) endorsement
• Experience working with visually impaired students in school settings

• Commitment to fostering inclusive educational environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and adaptations for students with visual impairments
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff on curriculum access
• Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Travel between assigned schools within the district as needed
• Support family and staff training in assistive technology and visual impairment strategies
