Teacher for the Visually Impaired | Glenrock, Wyoming

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid state certification/license as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
• Experience in a school-based setting preferred, but not required
• Strong knowledge of Braille, assistive technology, and adaptive tools
• Ability to create and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative services to students with visual impairments
• Develop and adapt instructional materials to meet students’ individual needs
• Conduct assessments and track student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to promote student success
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute recommendations for goals and accommodations
• Stay current on best practices and emerging technologies in the field
