Step into a valuable role supporting student success as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)! A contract position is available for the upcoming academic year, running from August 5, 2026, through May 27, 2027, in the Pickerington area near Grove City, OH. This full-time onsite opportunity offers the chance to make an impact in multiple school settings, primarily at the elementary level, with potential involvement at the middle and high school levels.

Your expertise will be essential for a caseload of 8-10 students, providing direct and consultative special education services that truly make a difference. The number of students may vary as caseloads adjust for qualifying students.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) certification required
  • Experience working with K-12 students with visual impairments preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and documentation
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across multiple locations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative services as outlined in each student’s IEP
  • Attend IEP and other relevant student meetings as requested
  • Provide indirect (non-contact) services, including documentation and communication regarding IEP activity
  • Support general and special education teams with strategies to best meet student needs
  • Maintain detailed records of service delivery for compliance and student growth tracking
