A full-time opportunity for a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) serving K-12 students is currently available. This role involves providing specialized instruction and support to visually impaired students across multiple schools within a district, working on an itinerant basis. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction to visually impaired students in grades K-12.
• Travel throughout the district to serve multiple school sites on an itinerant schedule.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, and families to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Utilize assistive technology and specialized teaching strategies to support student learning and independence.
• Conduct assessments and monitor student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI).
• Experience working with visually impaired students in an educational setting.
