• Flexibility to adapt instruction and resources to meet diverse student needs
• For braille transcribers: Certification or verifiable experience in braille transcription

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and resources to visually impaired students, adapting lessons as needed

• Collaborate with general and special education staff to ensure an inclusive educational experience
• Support orientation and mobility training if dually certified
• Communicate progress to families and participate in IEP meetings
• For braille transcribers, prepare accessible instructional materials and resources in braille as requested
