Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Provide direct instruction in the areas of braille, low vision devices, tactile materials, and adaptive technology
- Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to ensure accessibility and effective instruction
- Conduct assessments to inform instructional decisions and document student progress
- Engage with families and caregivers to foster supportive home and school partnerships
