  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for visually impaired students
  • Creative problem-solver, adaptable to the unique needs of each student
  • Commitment to fostering students’ independence and confidence

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative services for students with visual impairments
  • Adapt instructional materials, and collaborate with general education staff
  • Conduct assessments and contribute to the development of IEPs
  • Offer guidance and training to staff and families, ensuring continuity of support
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instruction to promote skill development
  • Advocate for accessible educational experiences and inclusion in school activities
