Qualifications and Experience:

• Active North Carolina Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) certification/license required
• Experience working with students who are visually impaired in a school setting
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and staff
• Understanding of a variety of adaptive technologies and materials
• Ability to adapt instruction to multiple grade levels and learning styles

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver individualized instruction to students with visual impairments
• Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Provide consultative support and resources to classroom teachers and staff
• Monitor, assess, and report on student progress in accordance with educational goals
• Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment, using adaptive tools as needed
