Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid credential in teaching students with visual impairments
• Experience working in a school-based setting or with children/youth who are visually impaired
• Knowledge of specialized instructional strategies, assistive technology, and braille
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Passion for advocacy and inclusion

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative instruction to students with varying degrees of visual impairment
• Adapt curriculum materials and develop accessible resources
• Conduct assessments and write comprehensive reports
