Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate well with educators, support staff, parents, and other professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct instruction to students with visual impairments, adapting curricula and materials for accessibility.
  • Assess students’ strengths and needs, and develop personalized education plans.

  • Track progress, document services, and participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
