Teacher of the Visually Impaired Job in Mesquite, TX

In-person leave of absence coverage for a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) in Mesquite, Texas to start in August, 2026 and end May, 2027. This is an itinerant role that will have TVIs working with a variety of age groups at different campuses. Experience with braille instruction and assistive technology is sought after and teachers will need to be proficient at adapting materials and contributing to student Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

Requirements:

• Texas Educator License - Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments Endorsement.
• Teachers must be able to write and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and work with related services staff.
• 2 Years of Recent Teaching Experience Preferred
