Key Qualifications:

  • Valid licensure as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
  • Experience or interest in working with students with primary and secondary disabilities
  • Ability to manage a caseload of 25-30 students across 2-3 buildings
  • Prepared to work in a setting that supports students with severe behavioral and physical disabilities
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver adaptive instruction and support to students with visual impairments
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for IEP development and execution
  • Travel between North, South, and West Education Centers as assigned
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting
