In this full-time, full-school-year position, you will collaborate with educators and support staff, ensuring students receive the individualized services they need to succeed. Qualifications & Experience:

• Active California teaching license with the appropriate endorsement for Visual Impairment.
• Previous work with children or students who are blind or visually impaired, including the use of Braille, assistive technologies, and adaptive techniques preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to design, implement, and adapt Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and student advocacy.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instructional services to students with visual impairments both individually and in group settings.
• Develop and implement accessible curriculum modifications and accommodations.
• Consult with general education teachers and staff to create a supportive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Assess student needs and progress, maintaining accurate documentation and participating in IEP meetings.
• Instruct students and staff in the use of adaptive devices and assistive technologies.
