Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • Strong communication, time management, and adaptability when moving between school sites
  • Ability to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) focused on the success of visually impaired students

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality instruction and support to students with visual impairments across multiple schools in Delaware County
  • Assess student needs, develop and adapt lesson plans, and collaborate with IEP teams, families, and other professionals
  • Deliver training and consultations for educational staff to promote accommodations and accessibility
  • Maintain accurate documentation and monitor student progress toward educational goals
