You’ll thrive in this full-time, in-person itinerant role supporting students in the 26/27 school year. While primarily onsite, there’s flexibility for hybrid scheduling, fostering both consistency and work-life balance.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Washington State Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) licensure required
  • Previous experience teaching students with visual impairments strongly preferred
  • Comfortable working full-time and traveling between multiple locations as an itinerant educator
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction and support for visually impaired students in various school settings
  • Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs)
  • Consult with classroom teachers and related service providers to ensure student success
  • Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies as needed
  • Provide resources and advocacy for students and their families
