Key Qualifications:

• Certified or eligible for Washington State TVI licensure (required)
• Experience working as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (preferred)
• Ability to work full-time for the 2026–2027 school year
• Open to both in-person and virtual service delivery
• Flexible, adaptable, and collaborative
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to students with visual impairments in an itinerant model
• Assess student needs, develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams
• Adapt curriculum materials and recommend assistive technology as needed
• Travel between schools or provide remote support, as assigned
