- Valid certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired

- Strong organizational, communication, and advocacy abilities

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative services to students with visual impairments
- Conduct functional vision and learning media assessments, interpreting results to inform instruction
- Adapt or create educational materials and recommend appropriate assistive technology

- Deliver orientation and mobility instruction and support independence in educational and daily living contexts
