Your schedule will follow the traditional academic calendar, beginning August 11, 2026, and concluding May 20, 2027, with structured hours from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The caseload is designed to ensure personalized attention, with less than a 1.0 weight, making relationship-building and tailored instruction possible. Qualifications and Experience:

• Current certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired or equivalent credentials.
• Previous experience delivering specialized instruction to students with visual impairments.
• Strong knowledge of educational modifications, adaptive equipment, and accessible instructional strategies.
• Effective collaboration with general and special education teachers to implement accommodations.
• Confidence in working onsite, virtually, or in a hybrid capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction to visually impaired students across grade levels, maintaining educational best practices.
• Develop and adapt teaching materials to meet individual student needs.
• Partner with general education and special education staff to support inclusive classroom environments.
• Consult with classroom teachers on appropriate accommodations and modifications.
• Monitor student progress and update educational plans accordingly.
