Key Qualifications:

• Ability to develop, modify, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ individual visual needs and adjust curriculum and materials for accessibility
• Deliver direct instruction in Braille, orientation, mobility, and assistive technology
• Collaborate with general and special education staff, families, and related service providers to ensure cohesive educational support
• Develop and monitor progress toward IEP goals in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Provide training and resources for school staff on best practices related to visual impairment
• Advocate for student accommodations and participate in IEP meetings
