In this impactful contract role, you’ll support school-age students in an itinerant capacity, working with learners across a variety of settings throughout Broomall and the surrounding area. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
• Experience supporting students with visual impairments in educational settings
• Strong understanding of assistive technology and best practices for accessibility
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and students
• Flexibility to travel between multiple schools within Delaware County

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instructional support and accommodations for students with visual impairments
• Assess student needs and adapt instruction to maximize learning and independence
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers and related service providers
• Engage with families to ensure continuity of support and consistent use of resources
• Provide input and expertise for IEP team meetings and contribute to goal setting
• Integrate the use of Braille, accessible materials, and technology as appropriate for each student
