Desired Qualifications:

• State certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired
• Experience delivering instruction and support for blind or low-vision students in school settings
• Proficiency with assistive technologies, Braille, large print, and adaptive devices
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Flexibility in adapting materials and teaching methods to varied learning needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students' visual needs and educational goals
