Key Qualifications:

  • Valid TVI certification required.
  • Experience developing and implementing IEPs for students with visual impairments.
  • Strong consultation skills for collaborating with school teams and families.
  • Excellent organizational and documentation abilities.
  • Comfortable supporting multiple school locations and adapting to a variable caseload.
  • Flexible mindset and willingness to provide both direct and consultative services.
  • Commitment to meeting students’ diverse learning needs.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct or consultative services as outlined in students’ IEPs.
  • Participate in meetings to advocate for and support students’ learning plans.
  • Complete thorough and timely documentation of service delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with school staff and caregivers on IEP activities and student progress.
  • Provide services to a caseload of 8-10 students, ranging from elementary to potential middle/high schoolers, with flexibility as new students qualify.
  • Adapt strategies and materials to meet each student’s unique needs and learning context.
