Qualifications & Desired Experience

  • Active TVI certification required
  • Experience supporting visually impaired students (elementary through secondary preferred)
  • Familiarity with direct/consult service models and IEP processes
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Comfortable servicing multiple locations and traveling within the area
  • Open to onsite work with part-time hours; willingness to collaborate virtually (VOCO) if needed

Primary Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct and consultative TVI services based on individual IEPs
  • Attend IEP meetings as requested
  • Provide indirect support, including documentation of service delivery and IEP-related communications
  • Adapt support to a flexible caseload of approximately 8-10 students, with possible variations
  • Foster positive, inclusive learning environments for students with varying degrees of visual impairment
