Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) and/or Braillist
• Prior experience supporting students K-12 with visual impairments
• Strong command of Braille, assistive technologies, and orientation and mobility techniques
• Collaborative mindset and adaptability in dynamic educational environments

Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored lesson plans and learning materials in Braille and other accessible formats
• Assess, track, and report on student progress to IEP teams and school staff
• Support individualized educational goals with direct and consultative services
• Train staff and families in the use of adaptive technology and resources
