You’ll work directly with a caseload of eight students who require a diverse range of service minutes weekly, monthly, and quarterly. The responsibility is meaningful—guiding students through tailored interventions, fostering greater independence, and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Washington TVI (Teacher of the Visually Impaired) certification
- Must undergo fingerprinting through OSPI prior to school entry
- Prior experience supporting K-12 students with visual impairments preferred
- Strong communication skills for student, family, and team partnership
- Commitment to onsite service delivery—remote options are not available for this assignment
