Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) | Reynoldsburg, Ohio

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) is required
• Experience working with students who are visually impaired, particularly within school settings
• Knowledge and understanding of Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes
• Strong communication skills for effective parent and staff collaboration
• Ability to provide both direct instructional services and indirect consultative support

Responsibilities:

• Deliver part-time, onsite support to students as outlined in their IEPs, from August 5, 2026, through May 27, 2027
• Provide direct instruction and consultative guidance to foster academic and functional independence
• Attend IEP meetings, contributing specialized insights and recommendations
• Maintain accurate records, tracking service delivery and communications related to students’ progress and needs
• Consult with classroom teachers and staff to ensure accessible learning experiences
• Serve multiple locations within the district, adapting to evolving caseloads as students qualify
