• Advise and consult with teachers and parents regarding strategies, adaptive equipment, and technology that maximize students’ independence.
• Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and documentation to comply with state and federal guidelines.
• Participate in IEP meetings, interdisciplinary team discussions, and ongoing professional development opportunities.

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid Texas Teacher Certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) or eligibility to obtain.
• Background in special education, with specific experience supporting students with a range of visual needs.
• Ability to develop curriculum modifications and utilize assistive technology for accessible learning.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
