Qualifications:

  • Certified Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) or equivalent credentials
  • Experience providing direct and indirect instructional services to students with visual impairments
  • Ability to conduct assessments, including FVE, LMA, and O&M evaluations
  • Strong collaboration and consultation skills with staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, individualized instruction during direct service hours
  • Provide consultative support to school staff and assist with material preparation for students
  • Complete and interpret evaluations, including FVE, LMA, and O&M assessments
  • Actively participate in ARD meetings and IEP planning
  • Advocate for student success across settings
