Qualifications & Experience

• Current Educator Certification with Vision endorsement required
• Experience with K-8 caseloads desirable
• Ability to work itinerantly within 2-3 schools per day
• Must clear district background check, fingerprinting, and related credentialing
• Flexible to address caseload needs and travel between locations

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction to a caseload of 12 students (grades K-8)
• Adapt general education curriculum for students with visual impairments
• Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff
• Provide direct support, including orientation/mobility strategies and accessible learning materials
• Participate in IEP planning and progress tracking
• Communicate effectively with parents and multidisciplinary teams
