This full-time contract opportunity runs from August 10, 2026, through May 27, 2027, offering a structured Monday through Friday schedule (37.5 hours per week) with a diverse caseload spanning elementary, middle, and high school students.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (VI)
- Experience supporting students with visual impairments, including Braille and assistive technology
- Strong knowledge of individualized instruction and accommodations
- Ability to work effectively with interpreters and multidisciplinary teams
- Proficiency in conducting both formal and informal student assessments
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable preparing for and attending ARD meetings to advocate for student needs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, individualized instruction to students with visual impairments
- Collaborate with general educators, special education teams, and sign language interpreters
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust methods to ensure continued growth
- Develop and implement strategies tailored to student caseload requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to ARD meetings as needed
- Support a smooth and inclusive learning experience across elementary, middle, and high school levels
