Make a difference as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) supporting students across a district-wide setting near Stafford, VA. Qualifications:

• Active Virginia Department of Education (DOE) Certification for Teachers of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
• Experience serving visually impaired students in a school setting preferred
• Willingness to complete a Virginia Department of Social Services background check promptly
• Recent TB test (required for credentialing)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Comfort working with a range of ages and service needs (PreK–12th grade)

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative vision services across assigned campuses
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
• Collaborate with school personnel, families, and other specialists
• Assess students’ visual needs and deliver effective instructional support
• Maintain thorough records and participate in IEP meetings
• Flexibly manage your schedule and caseload, with district support
