• Collaborating with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to facilitate accessibility and student success
• Conducting assessments to determine students’ functional vision and learning needs
• Advocating for an inclusive educational setting that empowers visually impaired students to reach their goals
• Staying current with best practices and participating in ongoing professional development

Ideal candidates will bring:

• Valid state certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
• Previous experience working with children in a school setting
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with Braille instruction, assistive technologies, and accessibility tools
