A full-time opportunity is available for a Teacher of the Visually Impaired specializing in telehealth services. This position is based in Pittsboro, NC, with a five-day workweek schedule. The role focuses on delivering specialized instruction and support to visually impaired students through remote platforms.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing tailored educational plans and adaptations for students with visual impairments.
• Utilizing telehealth technologies to conduct assessments, deliver instruction, and collaborate with families and educational teams.
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting strategies to meet individual needs.
• Maintaining accurate records and reporting on student development and service delivery.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals to ensure comprehensive support.

Qualifications and experience:

• Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI).
• Experience with telehealth service delivery in educational settings preferred.
• Strong understanding of visual impairment-related instructional strategies and accommodations.
• Effective communication skills, both virtual and in-person.
• Ability to work full-time, five days per week.
