A full-time position is available for a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to provide specialized instruction during the 26/27 school year. This role supports students with visual impairments through both in-person and telehealth delivery methods, offering flexibility to accommodate various needs.

Key responsibilities include delivering tailored instruction to students with visual impairments, conducting assessments, collaborating with educational staff and families, and developing individualized education plans (IEPs). The itinerant nature of the position involves traveling between multiple locations as required within the designated service area.

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Possession of Washington State Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) licensure
  • Proven experience working with visually impaired students in K-12 educational settings
  • Ability to deliver instruction via telehealth and in-person methods
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with school staff and families
  • Capacity to travel as part of the itinerant role

Location: Moses Lake, Washington
