Full-Time Virtual Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) – New York | 2026–2027
Soliant VocoVision is seeking a dedicated Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) for a fully remote opportunity with a New York school district for the 2026–2027 school year.
Position Details
- Full-Time or Part-Time
- 100% Virtual / Remote
- Provide direct TVI services and consultation
- Support braille production and orientation & mobility services
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and required documentation
Qualifications
- Active New York TVI certification
- Experience providing braille instruction and supporting students with visual impairments
- School-based experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable providing services through a virtual platform
