Virtual Teacher of Visually Impaired in NC

A full-time position is available for a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) delivering telehealth services in Pittsboro, NC. This role requires a dedicated professional specializing in supporting visually impaired students through remote instruction and specialized educational strategies.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing comprehensive educational support and assessments tailored to visually impaired students via telehealth platforms
• Collaborating with families, educators, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Utilizing specialized teaching methods and technology designed for visual impairment
• Monitoring student progress and adapting instructional approaches as needed
• Maintaining detailed documentation and communicating regularly with stakeholders
