Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid teaching certification with an endorsement in Visual Impairments or equivalent credentials
  • Previous experience as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired or similar role preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Braille, assistive technologies, and adaptive instructional strategies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct instruction to students with visual impairments, adapting materials to fit individual learning needs
