Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
• Experience working with students who are blind or have low vision
• Familiarity with Braille instruction and adaptive technology

• Understanding of IEP development and special education compliance
• Adaptable and compassionate approach to diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement tailored instructional strategies for students with visual impairments
• Provide direct and consultative services to students, teachers, and families

• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team to develop and update IEPs
