Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Teacher of the Visually Impaired license in the state of Virginia

• Flexible regarding in-person and VOCO/virtual instruction as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction in Braille and other core curriculum areas to students with visual impairments

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Consult with classroom teachers, families, and related service providers
• Support the orientation, mobility, and independence of students in school settings
