• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Commitment to creating inclusive, adaptive learning environments

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction to students with visual impairments across a variety of grade levels
• Assess student needs and tailor lessons using Braille, large print, and assistive technology
• Collaborate closely with general and special education staff, families, and related service providers
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate, up-to-date progress records
• Provide resources, advocacy, and training to teachers and families on best practices and accommodations
• Foster independence and confidence in students, supporting their academic and life skills development
