This full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) role provides valuable hands-on experience in a skilled nursing facility setting. Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8-hour day shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Assist in developing and implementing patient-specific treatment plans
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine individual needs and therapeutic goals
- Administer therapeutic exercises and activities to improve motor skills, coordination, and daily function
- Educate patients on the use of adaptive equipment and assistive devices
- Monitor, document, and adjust treatment plans in response to patient progress
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure well-rounded patient care
