This travel role offers a 13-week assignment with 36 guaranteed hours per week, providing stability while allowing for exploration of new surroundings during your downtime. Desired Qualifications:
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification
- Previous experience in a hospital, acute care, or rehabilitation setting highly preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Current BLS certification
- Respect and sensitivity when working with veterans or adult populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality therapy services under the direction of licensed occupational therapists
- Support the development and implementation of individualized care plans
- Assist patients in regaining independence and improving daily living skills
- Accurately document patient progress and communicate with interdisciplinary team members
- Contribute to a positive, supportive environment for both patients and staff
