A qualified Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is needed for a 13-week contract position at a healthcare facility specializing in veteran care. Location: Whitehall, MT

Schedule/Hours:

  • 36 hours per week guaranteed

Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist
  • Assist patients in regaining or improving their ability to perform activities of daily living
  • Implement treatment plans and document patient progress accurately
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop holistic care approaches
  • Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and adaptive strategies

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Current Certification as a COTA in good standing
  • Experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
