In this dynamic hospital-based role, you’ll join a dedicated rehab unit supporting physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Develop your skills alongside experienced clinicians and expand your clinical toolkit, all while experiencing the fulfillment that comes with helping patients regain their independence.
Schedule/Hours:
- 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (7am–5:30pm)
- Every 3rd weekend rotation
Desired Qualifications:
- Active California Occupational Therapist license
- BLS certification (required)
- 2+ years of occupational therapy experience, with at least 1 year in an acute care hospital setting
- Experience with Cerner EMR is a plus
- Open to first-time travelers eager to learn
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy to a diverse patient population in a hospital rehab setting
- Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, including PTs, speech therapists, aides, and hospital staff
- Communicate regularly with managers and participate in staff rotations, including holidays as scheduled
- Attend 8 hours of comprehensive orientation specific to the floor/unit
