Role Highlights:

  • Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts (7:00am–5:30pm), offering optimal work-life balance
  • Weekend: Every 3rd weekend
  • Orientation: 8 hours tailored to rehab modalities
  • Unique uniform: Provided polo or button-down shirts in burgundy, with dark solid pants

Qualifications:

  • Active California Occupational Therapy license
  • Current BLS certification (required)
  • Minimum 2 years of OT experience, including at least 1 year in acute care hospital settings
  • Comfortable working within a collaborative rehab team (PT, OT, Speech)
  • Open to first-time travelers eager to expand their clinical perspective

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive OT services as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Utilize Cerner EMR system for patient documentation and care planning
  • Demonstrate clinical initiative under the guidance of a supportive Manager (available weekdays)
  • Collaborate with PT aides and allied professionals to optimize patient outcomes
  • Participate in a fair rotation for holidays and weekends
