Travel Occupational Therapist - Bushnell, Illinois

Schedule/Hours:

• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• 72 hours per pay period

Position Highlights:

• Home Health OT role with focus on ortho, deconditioned, and lymphedema patients
• Flexible caseload of 4-5 visits per day, with reimbursed mileage
• Opportunity to coach patients on daily living skills (bathing, cooking, dressing, etc.)
• Some pediatric interaction (no age restrictions); peds experience a plus
• Expect to collaborate with COTAs including supervisory visit documentation

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist, eligible for practice in IL
• Previous hospital or home health OT experience preferred
• Lymphedema specialty and/or willingness to work with pediatrics are highly valued
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills required
• Familiarity with web-based EMRs and confident use of iPads for charting
• Ability to communicate and fax to physicians efficiently
• New graduates may be considered

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality occupational therapy to a broad range of patients
• Support patients in regaining independence with life skills to remain at home
• Conduct accurate, timely charting and EMR documentation
• Supervise and collaborate with COTAs as required
• Participate in remote scheduling, meetings, and periodic office visits
