Schedule:
- Four 10-hour shifts each week
- Includes two weekday shifts and two weekend shifts
- Flexible shift arrangements available if needed
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred
- Ability to adapt to multiple clinical environments
- Strong assessment and communication skills
- Willingness to float between multiple facilities as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to hospital patients across various departments
- Complete assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver interventions that support functional improvement
- Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, speech therapists, and nursing staff to deliver integrated, patient-centered care
- Document all care and progress according to hospital standards
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques, injury prevention, and home programs to ensure continuity of care after discharge
- Flexibly transition between assigned facilities to meet operational needs
