Schedule/Hours:
- Monday through Friday
- Flexibility in shift times
- Required to float between facilities in the region (Herrin, Memorial, and St. Joseph)
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license
- Current BLS certification (required at all sites)
- Additional certifications depending on department assignment (ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS)
- Recent hospital-based therapy experience strongly preferred
- Strong adaptability and effective communication skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions to a diverse inpatient population
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care
- Float between multiple facilities, adapting quickly to varied department protocols and workflows
- Document patient progress and participate in discharge planning
- Engage in continuous learning and stay current with best practice guidelines
