Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday
• Flexibility in shift times
• Required to float between facilities in the region (Herrin, Memorial, and St. Joseph)

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license
• Current BLS certification (required at all sites)
• Additional certifications depending on department assignment (ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS)
• Recent hospital-based therapy experience strongly preferred
• Strong adaptability and effective communication skills

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions to a diverse inpatient population
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care
• Float between multiple facilities, adapting quickly to varied department protocols and workflows
• Document patient progress and participate in discharge planning
• Engage in continuous learning and stay current with best practice guidelines
