An outstanding opportunity awaits an experienced Occupational Therapist passionate about supporting students in a school-based setting. This contract role runs ASAP through the end of the school year, working with a diverse K-12 student population. Your specialized expertise will help students achieve greater independence, develop essential motor skills, and succeed in their academic environment.

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time position
• ASAP start through the end of the academic year

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
• Previous experience in both healthcare and school settings is highly valued
• Proficient in supporting fine and gross motor skill development
• Comfort collaborating with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
• Demonstrated ability to create and implement individualized treatment plans for students K-12
• Strong communication skills for working with staff, parents, and students

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and deliver occupational therapy interventions to K-12 students
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and parents to facilitate student participation in school routines
• Assist in developing strategies for students with varying needs in both academics and daily living skills
• Support IEP teams with expert OT input and documentation
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, adjusting plans as necessary
• Provide guidance or supervision to COTAs as needed
