This role is ideal for therapists interested in expanding their clinical versatility. You’ll enjoy exposure to a diverse caseload, working with orthopedic and deconditioned patients as well as those needing lymphedema management or life skills coaching—think bathing, cooking, and dressing—to support patient independence at home. The position also welcomes applicants with, or willing to gain, pediatric experience, with no age restrictions in patient care. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team using fully digital, web-based EMR systems and flexible remote meeting options to further enhance your professional growth.

You’ll find each day is different thanks to the expansive service area, with plenty of time on the road to appreciate unique Illinois landscapes. Schedule:

  • 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • 72 hours per pay period

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current OT license
  • Experience with orthopedic, deconditioned, and/or lymphedema patients preferred
  • Organization, adaptability, and independence
  • Willingness to work with a pediatric population
  • Comfort with web-based EMR and iPad usage
  • Previous home health experience a plus
  • Supervisory skills for COTA oversight beneficial

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct 4-5 patient visits daily, traveling throughout the service area
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions in patients’ homes
  • Provide coaching on life skills and patient education
  • Coordinate care with COTAs, including supervisory documentation as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic records
  • Participate in team meetings remotely and in-office as required
